After 50 years of successful operation, the choir had to effectively shut down since March of 2020 because of the pandemic, resulting in significant costs both financially, and in terms of declining membership. The choir applied for and was granted an Ontario Trillium Foundation ‘Resilient Communities’ Grant which is designed to help non-profits recover from the devastating effects of the Covid 19 pandemic.
The OTF grant will be of great help in rejuvenating the choir as a vibrant contributor to the Halton Hills cultural scene for the next half-century. Thank you. We are grateful for your support.
The choir extends its sincere gratitude to the Town of Halton Hills for a ‘Community Partnership’ Grant. Our membership dropped sharply through the pandemic, and the grant allows us to significantly expand our digital marketing and rebuild our membership to a viable level.
