Donation to Townsend Smith Foundation
North Halton Community Singers performing The Beatles and Friends.
GCS Chair, Isobel Watkinson (third from the right), accompanied by Rob Vandervecht (second from the right), president of the Rotary Club of Acton, were very pleased to present a cheque for $5,300 to Astrid Lakats, Board Chair of the Townsend Smith Foundation. The money was raised at a concert entitled “Beatles & Friends”, which was a joint project of the choir and the Rotary Club, and will help fund a new hospice in the North Halton region.
Sunday, June 18, 2023 – North Halton Community Singers opened the show with “O Canada”.
